Now, I know that I really have little to do with this and my opinion will more than likely go unheard by who is truly in need of hearing it, but here we go:

I honestly don't think that any one person can consider themselves "open-minded" if we are incapable of accepting people who are not. If we can't accept people for who they are, despite flaws and opposing opinions, then how are we open-minded? This point goes for both sides of this argument, really. One is truly in dire need of some personal growth if they are incapable of dealing with someone else's opinion for what it is: simply a view that is not the same as their own.

Though, this is not to deny some very rude actions by the person in question (spewing racial slurs at people who have caused no real harm is entirely unforgivable) nor how truly wrong I believe it is to judge someone based on their skin color, heritige, ethnicity, etc.

There is nothing that can be gained by many people attacking one person whose opinions are obviously set in stone, and it doesn't speak very well for the character of the attacker. So, honestly, many people here are making themselves look just as closed-minded as they claim the person they are attacking is.

It does not bode well for humans to be so unaccepting of fellow members of their own species, and honestly nothing will get better if all we can do is attack each other instead of talking reasonably. Though I believe there is valid reason to disagree with someone who is racist, nothing can be acheived by acting this way.

Then again, I'm weird.

I apologize if I am sticking my thoughts where they do not need to be, but I thought this needed to be said.
